Job Description Sabre Air Shopping system is the one handling flight travel requests from travel agents, online agencies and airlines, to empower their search engines and agents to offer the most convenient flight options in the lowest price. This is complex organism, consisting of several components developed optimal way mainly in C++, is maintaining a rate over 7.000 transactions per second and is hosted on 3000 of servers in three data centers together with cloud initiative. The complexity of business logic requires constant focus on code, design optimization and staying in touch with newest technologies to manage growing demand for processing power and low response times. Job description: Develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software. Works with technical staff and work independently to understand problems with software and resolve them. Control quality of coding and implementation of implemented solutions Participate in iteration planning’s, SCRUM meetings, team meetings and brainstorming sessions May assist in development of software technical documentation Job Requirements Background and experience: Technical education or technical background. 1-3 years of relevant experience in fast paced Software Development in Agile environment. Experience and expertise in advanced C++ programming. Independence in translation user stories into code, development under general direction, cooperation in a team-work oriented environment. Preferred skillset: Proficiency in C++ development in Linux environment Very good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, algorithms and data structures Knowledge of scripting languages, specifically Python Familiarity with GIT Previous experience with JIRA and Rally tools Open communication, team work and willingness to learn complex algorithms Why is it worth working with us?
